The hardware does the work
A cycle-driven 6510, PAL 6569R5 VIC-II and two 6526 CIAs. The 1541 has its own emulated processor and disk read channel, so fastloaders run on the machine itself.
Less setup. More C64.
Native desktop menus, disk and tape images, cartridges and a 512 KB REU. One reference machine, without a maze of hardware presets.
